Prepare for a spooktacular evening of fun, frights, and festive spirit! The Mays Landing-Egg Harbor City Rotary Club invites you to join us for the Egg Harbor City Halloween Parade, a beloved community tradition filled with costumes, creativity, and camaraderie.

- Date: Sunday, October 27, 2024
- Parade Start Time: 6:30 pm
- Costume Judging: Begins at 5:45 pm sharp at Kern Field
Parade Route
Attention! New Route for 2024!
The parade starts on Claudius Street, winds its way onto Philadelphia Avenue, takes a right turn onto Arago Street, continues with a right onto Liverpool Avenue, and finishes with a left onto Campe Street, ending at City Hall.
Registration & Lineup Information
Register Early! To ensure a fun and smooth event, participants are encouraged to sign up in advance at City Hall or through our online registration form.
Lineup Instructions
- Floats & Vehicles: Arrive at Claudius Street and London Avenue by 5:30 pm. Overflow can use Washington Street.
- Bands & Performers: Head to the 500 block of Liverpool Avenue by 6:00 pm.
- All Other Participants: Gather at the 500 block of London Avenue by 5:30 pm.
All groups should line up facing Claudius Street, moving toward Philadelphia Avenue.
Costume Contests & Awards
Bring your best costumes for a chance to win! Categories include:
- Ages 5 and under
- Ages 6-14
- Ages 15+
- Small floats and groups with push or pull displays
Judging for community groups, commercial entries, performance acts, and the coveted Best in Parade will occur on the 300 block, across from Zion Lutheran Church. Performances should not exceed 3 minutes.
After the parade, head to City Hall to pick up your trophies and enjoy complimentary snacks!

Want to add some extra flair to your act? Submit your music files (mp3 format) to DJ Ray beforehand, or bring your device to connect during the parade.
